Make an existing workflow less repetitive.

Agents often need the listings they are looking at in a shared spreadsheet. I built JipXL to collect those records and export them to Google Sheets, with paid plans supported by Stripe.

Understand the work before changing it.

Copying property details by hand takes time. Replacing a sheet with a fresh export can also discard the notes and checks people have already added.

The choices behind the product.

01

Work across browser contexts

The extension passes messages between Chrome’s isolated contexts to connect the listing page, extension interface, and export process.

02

Merge with the work already in the sheet

Exports merge new listing data while preserving user annotations and highlighting new listings. The shared sheet remains a working document.

Learning through the work.

JipXL shipped on the Chrome Web Store with subscription billing and reached 135 downloads by October 2026.

Building it taught me to pay attention to the work that happens after an export: the notes and decisions in the sheet are as important as the imported records.
