Build for the phone people already carry

The app that got me building.
An Android food and symptom-tracking app, originally built from a personal need and shared with other people managing IBS.
I started programming out of personal necessity. While managing my own health, I built a food-tracking app to help record food choices and individual reactions. It became my first experience of making software for other people.
I wanted a tool that Korean-speaking users could use to look up foods and record their own experiences. The app combined food search with personal reaction logging and community contributions.

Alongside food search, the app let users log reactions to foods. Korean, English, and Japanese support made the interface accessible to a broader group of users.
The app reached more than 12,000 downloads and a 4.3-star rating during its time on Google Play.
The app is now archived. It was removed from Google Play after it was no longer maintained to meet store requirements. It remains an important part of how I learned to build, publish, and support software.
